Liquid silicone is a thermoset material. LSR has good flow, low viscosity, fast cure, shear thinning, and a high coefficient of thermal expansion. The clamping force and injection pressure are not high, but the injection accuracy is high. The exhaust design is relatively difficult. Some products need to be designed with a sealed and vacuumed structure, which requires high precision of the mold. The barrel and the pouring system need to be designed with a cooling structure, and the mold needs to be designed with a heating system.
